Kell, it is good to see you here again, even tho it isn't the best of circumstances for you. I hope your mom will adjust okay. She is very lucky to have you there with her. Tom better take good care of those babies in CA or I'm afraid he will have big problems when you get home and I'd bet he is already thinking that way. Take good care of your mom and yourself. I think about you a lot. Miss your funny emails.
Kell, I am glad that your Mother has you to help and care for her. It will take alot of time to heal and even more time for your Mother because she has lost her life-long companion. On the other hand, all of you were blessed to have had him in your lives for a very long time. I bet Tom will take good care of your plants because he knows how important they are to you. LOL Brugie! Tom already called me this AM and said he was out watering them before he left for work. He proudly told me how he watered the new ones rooting along the inner porch. He said he drenched them!! I had told him not to water them at all! Oh well, what is to be is to be!
Thanks Kristi, I am on the Jersey shore. I am trying to organize my Mom. She has saved everything she has owned for the last 60 years. It is hard work and she is resisting so I must do it gently with love and patience (I keep saying this to myself). Not always easy! I found an 30 year old bathing suit of hers and I told her I would squeeze her in it for her wake if she resisted too much. I have it hanging now outside the closet as an unspoken threat! LOL! We laughed and laughed. Wish us luck!

Ohhhhhh! It must be a string bikini!!! Can you get them with strings three feet long??? Guess I could wear it like a thong and a thong top with a whole lot of string. LOL Heck though, I'd just loose the strings in some rolls and look like someone lost a barbie suit.

Kell, Nice to hear from you. It will be difficult, but together you and your mom will come thru it, and if you can laugh and be silly more power to you....
I remember going thru this when my parents died, and my sisters and I laughed and laughed as we sorted thru stuff, we would get the giggles and just be silly, it sure made it so much easier to deal with things.
I hope you can get together with Kristi (datdog) and pick up a brug or two for your mother.
