I have never seen so many flowers!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

In the evening it is almost too strong and you can smell them so far away!

This is a plant I planted last year for my friend at her house. It is in terrible soil, so rocky I was sure it would be stunted. She occassionally fertilizes it with the cheapest fertilizer in a big bag from HD that is 16-16-16. The leaves were very yellow so I brought her some iron and the leaves are greening up.

This has hundreds of blooms. They are in the middle, in the back, in the front! So many on a branch they do not fit!

Oh my gosh, to have those blooms now I'd feel like I was in heaven. Very pretty. You do good work Kell. Want to come to Iowa next spring and plant mine for me?

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Kell, awesome! Sometimes I think we treat our brugs to good and worry to much about them.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Wow! That's beautiful.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Wow Kell that is just beautiful! Great job! Was that a start off of your famous CG?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

now that is a brug. must be something good for it under those rocks.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It may be a CG but it was just labeled yellow suaveolens. I think Kyle knows how to tell.

It grows so big! I have one in my back yard that was taking over. It also puts straight shoots straight up, so this spring I cut mine all the way back and just left one stalk which is easily over 10 feet. It must be 6 inches in circumference just after 1 full year in the ground. I have a piece saved for Tracey that is about 3 feet and that thick. Its nature is to be huge. In the middle of that plant pictures above, it has about 4 tall suckers that go straight up. They just started to grow in the last month and they already are coming out of the top. I wish someone around here wanted an already made tree. No one around here wants them........LOL!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Why would anyone NOT want them? That is out of this world!

Heck, you don't have to wait until next spring. Kell. come now and bring your brugs! You sure can tell, that plant is very happy.

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

That's it! I'm going to quit babying mine.
I want them to look like that.
Does she water them? or do I need to quit that too?

Huntington Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Wow Kell, that one is in competition with my Frosty, only it looks like it may have more blooms than mine. What a difference on the growth of the blooms. This is scrumptous looking.

Donna

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

oh shoot Gloria, I did not even think to tuck a piece of that in your box and if i had from the top it could be flowering in a week! It even flowers when you have it in water to root!

She didn't all winter but then it rained here ike crazy. The problem now is that i she does not water it every other day it totally deflates for it has so much to support there. This is huge. It has crested over a 6 foot fence and must be twice as wide.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Kell, get thee up here to take care of mine!!! Soon!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hi Miss Lizzy.......I hardly see you anymore............. miss your emails! Tell me how is your brug store going? Has Canada realized it needs lots of brugs NOW!! I was thinking that was keeping you too busy!

Milo, IA(Zone 5a)

All I want is my first bloom. I can't even imagine all of those blooms, simply gorgeous!!!!!!

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Oh, this is what dreams are made of!

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

you know---that one should be named "car accident" cuz it would cause one here Im sure. ok Kell Ive tried to restrain myself- but ummm--this fall can I pweeeeeeeeeeeez have a piece of that one? Have no idea where I would plant it,---cuz thats monsterous my anyones standards, but I neeeeed that brug.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Cryin' here, I needed that! It is really "out of this world"! Like Heaven, even? Thanks for sharing.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Kell . . I am interested in a cutting of it when available.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well shoot ladys, I just tossed tons of it last month from mine!!

Mine does have suckers that are about 4ft+ that have just grown since I cut them all away! I wish there was a cheap way to send this stuff! The heavy tall box at PO cost so much to send.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Agghhhhnnn!!! Tossed? Tossed??
Thought we were all friends here? )( ~ ;

Good smelly blooms are good smelly blooms, right?

Surely, she has too many side shoots?

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Kell, that is gorgeous. Wish I had that many blooms on something in my backyard. Maybe we do treat them too good.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Kell - you are teasing us!!!
that is gorgeous. If you have some suckers that you want to get rid of, can you toss them my way?, I want to take a couple of cuttings with me to start my garden this year, cause it's too late to get the seeds started for this summer....
Let me know and I will send you postage if you have some to spare. thank you :)

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I will pay for the postage + your hard work. Have to do the same if I order from someplace, their postage runs high!

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

postage n my first born child even Kell----- seriously when and if you have a chance later, Id be a happy camper to send postage plus extra---seems like every time I turn around someone is thanking u for plants or seeds (myself included) n I dont want to run you ragged but ummm if you felt generous n ummm well ummmm *breaks out her handy dandy pitiful humble look * as my husband likes to call it.... lol if you cant, I understand, perhaps this fall?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Play, I only want postage! I still have about 5 packages I owe. Maybe I will get it together to send these out tomorrow! I warn you I can be slow and need to be nagged.

These are the suckers on mine. I do need to cut them off. They are ruining my tree........ LOL! See how tall the main sucker is? I cut down the rest of the bush last month and left the sucker. This towers over the 6 foot fence plus extra lattice on top. These suckers grow up to 6 ft in just weeks.

I have 4 suckers I think, so (I have none rooted so you need to know how to root them)

Kyle do you want one of these? I emailed you but I think you do not get my emails for some reason. Tell me now.

Deb and Play, do you want a tall sucker or a small cutting from the flowering region?

Pebble wants small and Gloria wants big sucker.

excuse the mess! this is my brug growing garden and also a dumping ground for potted plants I have no room for anywhere else!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, I emailed him the link so he can let you know. I wonder if somehow he has blocked your mail and doesn't know it. Things like that do happen sometimes.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Kell how about a tall?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

kell, I would gladly take a piece of CG..mine from SD never blooms. :-)

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Kell, do I have to whine like PlaysinDirt to beg for one?
Whine, whine, whine...
Just a cutting for postage?

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

I'd love a cutting if you have an extra one, Kell. Maybe it could show the others what they're supposed to do - BLOOM!

I could send postage and if you are interested, I have some Canary Bird x Raffaella seeds left. I had held back 10 or 12, thinking I would start them if the first ones didn't come up. It took FOREVER, but once the pot was outside, they started popping up (8 at last count!). My other seeds sprouted in the house, but I guess these just wanted to be outside. I also have some plumeria seeds left, if you like them.

If only I could beg as well as my little niece Chloe, she tilts her head to the side, smiles and sweetly says 'Please?' in a high little almost 2 year old voice. You're a goner from the head tilt alone!

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

Kell beggers arent choosey--what ever you have Ill be glad to send postage and heck Ill even mail you the box? I have some experience rooting *knock on wood* Lemme know when its convenient for you. cheryl

Hey There Kell.... How you been? Haven't been online much lately but thought my eyes would just about "pop" when the first thing I saw tonight was that golden beauty w/ the mucho blossoms!!! WOW... at a LFW's here.
Could you spare a cutting for this old gal from the frozen tundra??? I have a few seedling crosses that are about 12 inches tall for trade or I could send postage.
