it's very pretty but doesn't look red..........is it supposed to be red? Not like I would care because I love just about any of those in any color.........lol.........was just curious because of the name

how lovely.... I was stalking you in the other thread waiting for pictures. :-) They do look fairly similar to the ones from the original co-op thread, same darker lines in the middle. I have about 4 going outsdie now - and just in case, one inside growing up a bar in my sunroom.

I have no clue...these were seeds from the co-op.
There IS a lavender moonflower as well...not sure if this one qualifies as that one.
The blooms are small. They opened around 4:00 pm and are still open...so it definetly has those "Moonflower" habits

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I didn't get a picture of the first flower on mine, but it was more pink with dark veining. Probably like everything else, soil and other factors can make things look different for all of us. I'd be happy if my lav. one would look just like your picture. I've not seen it bloom yet. Nice picture.
