Small composting suggestion

My favorite non gardening mag - Cooks Illustrated - had a great suggestion this month for composters:

When peeling vegetables, throw down a sheet of newspaper in the sink. The water runs through if you run water when you peel; then just pick up and off to your compost pile newspaper and all.
