The July issue of Prevention magazine has a nice article titled "The Healing Garden." Probably something we've all experienced in gardening, but they say it well:
"It (gardening) teaches us the fragility of life, that we can't control everything. It also shows us how important we are in the scheme of things - how insignificant we are in the time and space of the universe, but also how crucial we are to the survival of some of the smallest and most important beings."
Happy gardening!
