Akatsuki no Yuma

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

This is a brown morning glory. The photo does not show true. The description says peach or brown with white border.

that looks almost like the chocolate. I would love to have a few seeds of that one if you have some to share ;)

Flowox, I don`t have any seed left but I will be saving seed from these and will put you down for some.Sorry

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Thanks, It will be next year before I have any seed from it. I have some but they are mixed in with others. They grew so well that they climbed each other and when I collected the seed there was no way to tell which was which. It was my favorite, sort of a milk chocolate color.

Franklin, WI(Zone 5a)

Looks like the more commonly named Rose Silk! Lovely flower.

Very pretty. Has anyone had experiences with collected seed not coming true to the parent?

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Brugie - not sure. This is my first year growing these. I have found the biggest problem to be getting any seeds. Time will tell next year if our meager seed crops yield the same flowers.

Thanks Sandra. I supposed the vines are gone now in your zone. What a shame, those are just beautiful. Hope you have great luck with them next year. Like I said in another thread, I hope you will have another co-op this year. I missed the last one.

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Hi Brugie - we're planning on it! :) Probably fairly limited again given the complexities of shipping directly from Japan, but I'll keep everyone posted! I will probably post a week or so ahead of time to let people know it's coming up since I know some people don't view the co-op forum as frequently.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Sandra. I'll try to keep an eye on the forum.
