THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITES ALSO. I HAVE ONE IN THE BACK AND ALSO IN THE FRONT. I ALSO PURCHASED AN 'ORANGE JASMINE' LAST YEAR AT HOME DEPOT. TO DATE NO FLOWERS YET. ANY SUGGESTIONS.
Thanks Thaumaturgist! And I love the way you said that ...

Where are you located?
I love mine! It flowers profusely. I'm wondering if I can propagate through cuttings? Anyone done it or have any tips? Thank
We live in Perth, Western Australia (where it's now mid summer). We enjoy a Mediterranean climate. Our Night Blooming Jasmine is at least 10 years old. When we moved in 9 years ago we almost pulled it out, as we brushed past it on our way into the shed and hated the smell of the leaves! So glad we didn't. Now it is about 15 feet tall, and we look forward to the gorgous fragrance each summer. The only problem is that it's now quite straggly. How severely can it be pruned?
I have had one for about 10 years. Because I live in zone 5 it must come inside for the winter. During the summer it can reach 6', when I prune it I usually cut about a 1/3 of the stems back to about 6" from the soil line. Cuttings are easy to root. If I try to root cuttings from the stems I have pruned and it is early enough early to mid September they take easily. If I wait too long only half of the cuttings root or they take two or three months to put out roots. Cuttings are best in late summer or early fall. The white berries are quite easy to germinate.
Hope you can help We live in Spain and our plant is starting to give me cause to worry. I water it every other night try not to let the soil dry out but the other night I noticed the leaves are starting to curl and go yellow on the edges, am i giving it too much or not enough water? might it need repotting? I really dont want to lose this plant as the scent on a night is fab.
