Boy your up early! Doesn't look like EP to me.
OH MY GOODNESS.......did I turn an EP into a Frosty???
you know Im not at all brug educated--or bigoted for that matter lolol suavolen? versicolor? thats lovely!! if you should decide to evict it--lemme know? Ill be happy s.a.s.e and then some Kell.
I think it is EP. Just because the color isn't the same and it isn't recurved, doesn't mean that it won't be when the weather is more stable. Mine always curl up more that most of the pictures I've seen, so I questioned why it did that too. I really do believe that a lot depends on environment.
Yours is sure pretty Miss Lizzy!
Actually I was very late going to bed Krist......LOL! I can see why you say that Kristi. Sometimes I wonder if places sell these things from seed not cuttings and that is why they look a little different.
I forgot to tell you that the stigma in all the blooms was either missing or it was about 1 inch long, almost impossible for me to pollinate without ripping open the side of the bloom. Do you know what causes that?
Playsndirt, I also am just actually seeing the differences when I look. And I actually am getting strong preferences now that my eye is more educated. I need to do more reading now that my brain is ready to absorb it now. Last year I was just concentrating on the names of all of the brugs and how to recognize them. Now I am learning the species and where the different brugs each belong. This is a Versicolor from Ecuador so it must not be a hybrid but found in nature.
