My nearly 9 year old kitty has been diagnosed with an infected uterus. She is scheduled for surgury on Monday. Our toss-up is that she came into my home as abused and she is paralyzed on the left side of her head and has always had minor swelling on the side of her head. Putting her under is of great risk but she has lost so much weight and we have not found an antibiotic to work well enough to work through the infection. Has anyone ever been through a similiar situation?
