Hey Root, I brought some of those babies back on an airplane (about 15 years ago) that a friend dug up on a last minute trip to the airport out of Ft Lauderdale.They made it for 2 years in Ft Worth TX and I lost them.( I was young then) Now I got a small greenhouse and more wrinkles! Had the babies (with leaves stuck in a big trash bag for about 3 hrs on plane)My fellow passengers really loved having a tree on the plane with them.I never knew what they were but I know I could stand under some and this Texas girl was determined to bring some home. Are these found in Florida? They sure look like the ones I got all the nasty looks for!

John, I'm jealous. Mine only has that purple thing sticking up that should open up and shoot out the first leaf. Can't wait to see if the one under ground comes up and grows along side. I've got to come up with a secret weapon to get mine to lead the pack!! LOL!! Looks great. Hope it gets big and beautiful and that mine is bigger and has more leaves. Nothing wrong with my competitive mind. LOL!!
