Some of the greatest Coleus are showing up in greenhouses now. Can I purchase some and start some cuttings for my summer containers? Never tried it before....details please!
Thanks!

Propagating Coleus Now
Pretty simple. Don't use the top growth point. They are harder to root. Take tender shoots, about 1-1/2 inches, from the plant, stick in moist soil (you can use rooting hormone if you wish) and put them in a shaded area. Takes about a week for them to start rooting. Or, you can take longer cuttings and put in a glass of water. Pretty easy plant to root.
