... out the other day. Ya hyaaaa! We are frost free now! Potted all day long yesterday and some today. The smaller ones needed larger pots. Would have pottet more, but then the pups said hello *lol* The Brugs need to be hardned of a bit and then put into the dirt.
Put the brugs ...
These stay inside for a wile longer. They have half size buds and I have never seen the flowers of two of them and only one "old" flower on the third. From left they are sanguinea yellow from Preissel via Gommer, in the middle the yellow/ red mottled sanguinea and right sanguinea orange. I am out of arborea and Ida pollen, but I will cross them to one another and hope they get nice and hardy kids *lol* I am still amazed how good they are doing, because there are high humidity and day temps. of 30-37 * Celsius *lol*
Tonny,
Looks like you have a nice start for the new year. Keep posting those pictures. I want to see a few more new seedling blooms this year.
great looking brugs Tonny. Lucky you! in the first picture it looks like you have sev. brugs in one pot. They look like they are getting big. How long do you let them grow together before you separate them. Their roots must sure be tangled.
Eric, I can not promise you that any on mine will bloom this year, but I am sure the versicolor crosses will have at least one flush and I promise to keep you posted, when this happens. I think that it was tiG that posted a photo of you standing beside your seedlings. Are these your new babies from this year? I can`t wait to see some flushes from them as well as a few of your other hybrids that I have here.
Kell, I don`t know about being lucky. I hope it will be some days until I have to re-pot again. Those pots took a couple of days and 600 litres peat based potting mix, but on a brighter note of course they are now in their permanent pots, so it will take a couple of years, before I have to ad new dirt *l* No, they are not tangled at all. I let them just get enough roots, so that I can separate them without breaking them. It is time to pot them up separately and each will go into 6 litre pots, before they come in permanent pots. I will post a picture of the roots, when its potting-time :) How are your Brugs doing?
They are growing very fast now! It is raining here like crazy. The weather is sure off its usual. Very late for so much rain. We usually get no rain till the winter. I have lots of repotting to do also. I just can't seem to get myself to move! I have some multiple cuttings in pots that I should separate also.
It's been raining heavy all day here too Kell!
Tonny, How many pups did she have? Can we see a photo? Bet they're cute!
Kell,
It the weather forecast tonnight the speaker was very specific that Bruno has send the rain from Ireland to our garden *lol* Its going to simply pour down here too *lol*lol* I was about to put cement in the ditch to the fundament of the small GH, but now it seem like I can forget all about that for a couple of days :D Its wonderful to hear that your Brugs grow so fast. If the multiple cuttings has the roots tangled maybe you should try to carefully shake the soil of the root systems, so the roots will be easier to separate. I did that with half a hundred tomatoes today and it worked fine for the corn as well. We repotted last week and they was under 1 foot. Now they are all close to 2 feet high and that was probably because the roots remained intact, when separating them (I hope). I am sure that your cuttings will love bigger pots as their new homes :) What kind are you growing?
Bruno,
I have a link to them, but I don`t think that anyone would kill me for posting a single one of them here. Snui had seven smallfolks and most of them have got ears after their father :) *lol* Lene said ok to keep as many as I will, but on specific conditions *lol*

LOLOL...I was just wondering why the rain has suddenly stopped!
Congratulation BTW! Beautifull pups and they all look so different!
