If the multiple cuttings has the roots tangled maybe you should try to carefully shake the soil of the root systems, so the roots will be easier to separate. I did that with half a hundred tomatoes today and it worked fine for the corn as well. We repotted last week and they was under 1 foot. Now they are all close to 2 feet high and that was probably because the roots remained intact, when separating them (I hope). I am sure that your cuttings will love bigger pots as their new homes :) What kind are you growing? Bruno, I have a link to them, but I don`t think that anyone would kill me for posting a single one of them here.
