You're in Turkey right now? How's the weather?

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Hey pebble. I miss you.........I've been gone for so long that I missed the whole thing about you leaving. All your I's come out as y's on the keyboard.......LOL. Do take care of yourself and e-mail me sometime :o)

Pebble: You must be using a turkish keyboard!! I think perhaps the DG system doesn't know how to handle the characters on your keyboard. :( I'm sorry that this is keeping you from posting. If you can email me your message, I will post it for you.

I had some problems when I wrote here and answered some emails in hotel in Czech Republic, last June. I couldn't write any umlauts, and some buttons were on wrong places :]

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Hi, Pebble! Got the gist of it!
She wrote more in the prayer forum, guys. This thread - http://davesgarden.com/t/377902/ and this one - http://davesgarden.com/t/375214/ (you'll have to scroll down a bit for that one!)

Hi, Pebble! I am so glad that you and your family are enjoying your visit to Turkey and looking forward to your move there -- sorry the keyboard is giving you some problems, but it's so nice to hear from you, anyway!

Hope everyone ıs ok, I thınk of you all often as I spy some unusual plants.

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

Oh, Pebble...how far away you are, and yet with your posts it is as though you've never left. Please, if you have time, tell us more about Turkey.

Woodburn, OR(Zone 8a)

Pebble I'm so happy that everything is going well! and thanks to DG for being here so you won't lose touch with all of us! The kids will learn the language quickly, what a fun adventure! I hope the new pharmacy is a huge success!

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

Pebble, Since I'm Swedish and my daughter is studying Spanish I have my keybord set to all three languages.
If your computer has windows, all you have to do is go to the control panel, klick on keybord, klick on the language tab and choose english. Also put a check in the box that asks if you want it in the taskbar.
A blue box will be in the taskbar showing what language you are currently using. If you want to change, klick on the blue box and pick the other language.
Now all you have to do is remember where the letters are on a english keybord.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Good to hear updates from you, Pebble. I am looking forward to your pictures and your stories when you get back to the USA.

Great to see you posting again. I look forward to hearing all about your adventures there and learning more about the different culture you will be sharing with us.

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

Pebble I've hardly stopped thinking of you since you left for Turkey and of course missing you but so happy that you are keeping in touch and I'm looking forward to those wonderful photos that I know are coming and only four days now until your return to the US. Would you believe I found a new nursery yesterday and bought an ice plant!! :-)

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Found a new nursery and you bought "a plant"????? Such restraint!!!! Very admirable :) I wish I could be so good... Maybe I need to find a few people to shop for again. That seemed to keep me somewhat under control :)

Bowie, AZ(Zone 8B)

Pebble, so good to be hearing from you. And we are hoping to see some pictures soon. Keep safe. All the best to you.

Pebble,

So glad to hear that all is well for you and your family over there. We can't wait to see and hear about the new pharmacy. I hope you invited Gardener Dave to the Opening too.

Bless you and keep safe,
Donna

Hi, Pebble, just saying "hello" -- hope you are seeing wonderful sights and having a great time.

Bolton, Greater Manc, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Hi Pebble. I cant believe you have gone already!! I have only just seen this

I am well on the way to recovery this time (fingers crossed) Id love to hear from you sometime. Email me if you can :)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Hey, Pebble! Just popping in to say hello, too. Mom and dad borrowed my car this week, and wouldn't you know the keys got lost at the greenhouse they were visiting yesterday? I got a frantic call from mom. Since they had MY car, I couldn't drive over to Howie's job to get his set of keys or drive the keys to them. My MIL was home, thank goodness, and she took me to Howie's work so I could get his keys and drive his car to the greenhouse.

I accepted payment in the form of a few plants. ;)

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Hi everyone, I'm finally home...sweet home....what a long flight. The kids were excited to get fast internet connection - lol - I was looking forward to sleeping in my nice comfortable bed.....

I'll post pictures, most likely tomorrow, I'm pooped and ready to hit the sack.
Thanks all for your chats, It was great to keep in touch.

Alas, Gardener Dave did not make it to the opening, but he did visit the pharmacy, and some other cool places, will post all those shots in the paper people forum.....
And all the rest of the photos I guess in the photo forum..

It's great to be back, believe me, you have all been in my thoughts while I was travelling, I tried to get some shots of things that would be unusual to a foreigner in turkey. It is so funny the things that one forgets, things that used to be everyday, commonplace things, like the camels etc., that actually arent really commonplace for this part of the world. I have to sort through all the photos and try to organize them.

It is great to be back home!
