Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

tiG, in this greenhouse we already have had so much fun,Philippe and Nathalie do know it,too ( friends from France).
Come in with a cot..we will feed you with milk and cooked bananas:)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Ludger, can I have a banana sandwich?? (do y'all eat those there? try one with peanut butter:)

St. Louis, MO(Zone 6b)

WOW!!!! That is impressive. For an addict like me that is equivalent to an alcoholic falling into a vat at the brewery. I would never want to leave. Glug, glug, brug, brug :-@

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Smile, tiG,why do you know about the peanut butter...not to get in D but the best you can buy in NL...come in and we will have nice Dinner together.

Padre, lol, that´s the reason why I visit Hendrik and Monika very often. We always have to chatt about brugs or we have a swap. The beer I always have here when getting home save.

Dreamland I said: One day a meeting there...

that is just amazing!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

How I would love to see that. Thank you, you just brightened up my day. I wish he shipped to us, I emailed him once before and he said no. You're a fortunate man Ludger to have friends who own a big cookie jar like that. And to be such good friends with Monika, what more could you ask for?

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Smile, nothing I could ask for because I have found so much and great friends in CA and USA,too.
Monika,Hendrik,Philippe ( from France )and I do know each other, together with Dave and BGI we are such a great family.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Well said. I feel the same way.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh my gosh......that is amazing. Did you all see the baskets hanging up above that have the self waterers in them? That is a really cool thing that has sure helped the nursery business a lot. I would love to see a place like this sometime. I only see local nurseries that have basically perennials and annuals growing. To see a nursery full of tropical plants would probably get me addicted to another kind of plant or two. Just AWESOME!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

can you imagine owning something like that?It would be a dream come true!

bronson, IA(Zone 4a)

thanks for sharing--never seen anything like that--wish it was mine--looked like heaven to me!!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

WOW!! I've died and gone to Heaven! What a sight, and yes, those were hibiscus in there.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

That pink hibiscus looks like the one called "Painted lady" in the USA :-)

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Ludger, what neat pictures of your friends nursery. I agree with Hibiscus I would think I had died and gone to heaven to, to be able to visit a nursery like that. Nothing like that in my area. Donna

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

ohhh wow Ludger--they would have to drag me out kickin n screamin.....

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I'm with you playsndirt, how could you possibly decide what to buy? I'd want it all, in every color.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Why buy any, just live in it!!!!!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Wow! That is absolutely incredible! Now that is Brug heaven.

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Another just-to-dream-of landscape. What a playground.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

That is a impressive set up! It's so neat and tidy! I'd never leave once I entered it. How far do you live from there Ludger?

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

Is Hendrik Gommer's nursery still open? He doesn't seem to be responding to my e-mail!

FSH, TX

Ludger,
A true dream land indeed you have posted. Those seed trays look very much like the seed trays I use to plant my seeds in. Never thought of using them for cuttings, but most excellent.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Kristy, I have about a 5o minutes drive to Hendrik Jan.
Bruno, of course Hendrik´s Nursery is open, they are working like crazy.

Eric, you gave a good hint to me: Next time I will take more pictures about gardening here, my be it will be interisting for all of you.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm confused, is this Gommer's in the picture?

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

Ok, Thanks Ludger! Maybe I'll try once more!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Eric, I saw some kind of trays in the garden center today, but those was smaller than these. I think they are called plant plugs and used for sowing and growing seedlings. One tray measured 1˝ foot or a bit more. I am not sure, but there was about 10 x 10 plugs/ small pot holes in each tray. Now, I know that Cala was experimenting with rooting both tiny cuttings and larger cuttings at 2-3 # lengths as well. As we have only small room here for making cuttings it would be nice to know, if such trays is worth the wile, because when the roots are formed they will need to be potted better up real soon?

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Yes Bonnie, it´s Hendrik Jan Gommer´s nursery.
http://www.kwekerijgommer.com/index_deutsch.html

He is the hybridyzer from Kleine Aap ( Little Monkey).

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

What a fabulous nursery.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Sorry, I forgot to send, will do in some minutes.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

What I could do with a GH this big.:)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Well, I'd want it to come equipped with all the pots, full of course. :-)

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)
