Paulgrow - Your name will be mentioned in all my prayers in my home and in my church. I am so glad that you enjoy DG and the lovely people who care for each other here. I know that when Dave and Trish created this wonderful site that their intention was not only to unite people with a common love of gardening but also for us to share our trials and tribulations and to support each other in every way possible. I am going to email you if you don't mind because I have just made contact with someone in Belgium who is nuts about hydrangeas and he has supplied me with some terrific info and sites. God bless you today and always.
Paulgrow our prayers are with you! I know it must be a hard time for you and your family but I'm confident you'll pull through. It's good to see you posting and I hope you get some ejoyment from davesgarden even if it can only be for a little dose at a time ;o) We're all wishing you the best so hang in there. Keep us updated on how you're doing. The soil will be waiting so hurry up and get better!

May you be gardening very soon. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you....Gary
Prayers and thoughts are with you
Paulgrow,
I can sympathize with what you are feeling.
I had cancer 8 yrs ago (when I was still quite young) and had to have a total hysterectomy. I had to face the chemo and then radiation with not only the uncertainity of being in remission but also with the sadness that I could never bring another child into the world.
I lost my hair and I cried. I got weak and I prayed. I got a beautiful wig and I got lots of answers to my prayers.
I am in remission and have been for 7 yrs now. Prayers are answered and strength is gained by friends and loved ones.
While reading your post, I got the familiar chills that tell me that 7 yrs is not long enough to forget but then the 1 year I endured this horrid invader, I learned more about life than I did in the other 28 yrs combined.
I learned what is special in life and I learned how to LIVE life. I hope that you will not lose sight of all that is important and please know that you will be a constant in my prayers. May God's loving hands embrace you and may you be healed of this and may you learn and continue to find love here and from others as well.
ICE

Hi Paulgrow,
My prayers are for you and your health. I'm glad to know that everyone's posts help to bring an element of happiness to your day. We'll be thinking about you and your better days ahead. Hang in there...whenever a door is closed, a window gets opened and, in our case....whenever a plant is cut down, a seed is germinated :)
Trish

Paulgrow,
I am praying for you, too. Every time I pull a weed in my garden, I will pray that God will likewise uproot and remove any trace of cancer in your body. Know you're being lifted before the Great Physician and rest in His arms - we're lifting you up!
Kimberley

i believe in the power of prayer. i have seen it work wonders in so many peoples lives and in my own. so i will join with everyone else here, and pray for you and your family. for unfortunately it hurts the ones we love too.

Paul...
Hi there. I wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers would be with you. I'm a 2 year survivor of breast cancer.I had to go through radiation/chemo. It's not one of the most pleasant things to have to go through...but it sure as heck beats the pants off the 'alternative' I think.
Just try _very_ hard to keep your focus on the goal at hand.
And if all else fails? go out and find a friend like "Elena".
She has been my rock for over 2 years now.
She has pulled my butt out of some very rough spots.
I thank God everyday for her, and her prayers, and always, always her unending strength...
There were times when I didn't think I could walk another step...she showed me I could walk at least another mile...and then some. She's amazing!!
take care there...and again please know we are all thinking of you and wishing you the best.
May God Bless you and keep you safe..
One thing she taught me was "Satan gets to us, through the things we're most afraid of"
Your friend annie
p.s hope I didn't sound too preachy? I don't try to shove my beliefs on anyone...@@@@@
Thank You so much Annie
Paul
