I keep reading about people starting brug's from seeds.Where do the seeds come from? Every time a bloom dies on my tree it falls to the ground. There are no seeds in the bloom. It needs to be pollinated to have a seed and mine appear not to get pollinated.A local nursery man said that there is a particular moth which lays eggs in the bloom and when these eggs hatch into larvae they pollinate the bloom. Is this true?
Brugmansias
you have to hand pollinate them to double your odds. Hummingbird moths will do it, but if you don't have them, you are out of luck. You don't want any moth laying eggs in them.
And you need 2 different brugs,in other words you can't pollinate a frosty pink with a frosty pink, you need a CG or something that is not the same genes.
