My Face In The Mirror
Isn't Wrinkled or Drawn.
My house Isn't Dirty
The Cobwebs are Gone.
My Garden Looks Lovely,
And So Does My Lawn.
I Think I Might Never
Put my glasses back on.

Oh so true - this one is going on my fridge (I will enlarge it so I can see it without my glasses from a distance) Anyone notice how many of "us" have to take our glasses off in the grocery stores to read the labels?

I wish I had glasses to take off to make things so wonderful and neat and organized.... but alas, I have 20/20 and can't hide behind "not seeing it" ~~sigh~~ any other excuses I might be able to use???? LOL LOL

I LOVE it! Company is due in at 6pm tonight. The dog tore the screen off in the rainstorm last night & was sleeping in the hall.....now a BIG dirty spot there. The cat had a dead mouse in the dining room. DH has newspapers all over the living room, & I am just heading outside with my gardening garb & shovel. (No, the shovel isn't for cleaning the house....yet!) ;~)

You sure you're not talking about our house, duckweed? LOL. Hope your time wtih company went well...I didn't see your post here until a few months later!!

Well I have no excuse either 20/20 here as well.
But I can relate as well, got to go tidy we plan to spend the day at the state fair tomorrow and I don't want to come home to a messy house.

We were just looking at the fair schedule and thinking of going. Neither of us has been to the Ohio State Fair in years. The pedal tractor pull sounds fun...All those kids hauling stuff on their little tractors!

This little poem is really cute. I am glad somebody got it out of mothballs and back to the top of the forum.
