Ludger, thinki Frankfurt is their beginning destination, from there, they are renting a car and driving thru all the way to spain.
We are going in April to Izmir, then Bodrum, which is a seaside resort town.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Wow, from Frankfurt to Spain with a car...I do know this, did 5 times. It will be a long long way.But beautyfull. They should stop in french Carmaque to see the white wild horses and flamingos at the saltlakes.

If your friends will have questions about this trip, give them my mail adress, I will like to help.

About Bodrum I will ask next days and send you a mail.

Ludger, I wonder why they dont grow them there? the climate should be perfect - shouldnt it? The region I am going to is on the Aegean. OHHHH I will be the envy of everyone when I have my brugs growing....LOL
Ludger, I was born and raised there, my parents were american, they lived there about 20 yrs, my father retired and returned to their home when I was about 17. I have been here off and on since. My husband is turkish also...

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

LOL, than I dont have you to tell how nice and friendly turkish people are......lol lol lol.

I also have wondered why there are no Brugs. There are many countries all over the world where brugs a pretty unknown. You must make this plant common to Turkey, I will help you if you want.

Yes Ludger, we can make it our Mission....we can be the Johnny appleseed of brugs. - lol
I can't wait, but I am not sure about the timing....I do have some seeds that I had gotten from Liz in Canada, and Arlene In florida. I am saving them to start when I get there. (I might even try to smuggle some cuttings in) When my MIL went home last time she was here I had sent a cutting home with her, well...she tried her best to keep it alive, but it had gotten several times infested with mites, and to try to explain to her how to take care of it, she didnt understand or something, I dont know if she still has it still or if she has killed it.
She loved mine when she was here.

Pebble, we will miss you, but I'll bet it won't be long before you are hooked back up and talking with us at Daves and through email. I'm sure you will miss some things about the states, but being back "home" will be worth it for you. Good luck with your move. I'm sure we will be talking here for some time before you leave.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Thanks Brugie, Very kind of you to say. I do hope to be on as soon as possible. But time will tell.
