Hi to All,
I never before have showed you our house in brugvalley.
Here I am and am happy. I mean the house and being in this house and writing to Daves.
This spring we will cut down the hedge next to street. I can plant much more brugs along the house.
Sorry for not posting a brugfoto öh picture...lol.

Brugvalley
What a beautiful home you have. It looks like a really peaceful and relaxing place - no wonder you are happy :)
Do you also have volcanic rock? I need that to make my brugs as pretty as Monikas', lots of y's and big!
What a charming home you have.
Cool pictures Ludger. I bet you wish it was that green outside right now. Nice home. I can see why you would be happy there.
Lol, thank you for your words.
We have much slate in soil. Gloria, you dont need both of such stones, lol, let your brugs grow and you will become.
GL
Lovely home,Ludger.Maybe I should come to see you when I am in Würzburg this year. What is the Bahnhof nearest you?
Gwist, you are most welcome here! We have two guestrooms, enough "space",lol.
Next large station is Osnabrück or Münster. I will pick up you there. Our Dschungel Station is Ibbenbüren- Laggenbeck.
, dont try to find it.....lol
GL
Ludger, your home is beautiful. It must be so relaxing to come home from work to such a peaceful setting.
What a beautiful home you have. Just gorgeous !
Snow,
you are so right. My home is my castle, lol.
Having good friends and a good home is best thing I can imagine.
Playing with my brugs here is really relaxing.

Gwist
JEAH, would be very good!!!
You will not have to wait, I will be at station before train is coming in. I am born in Osnabrück, I do know that city.
GL
That is no small place you call home. Beautiful, you must love it and be very proud.
Ludger, that looks like my dream home. Thanks for sharing.
Very lovely, Ludger.
You and your brugs live in a nice home.
Thanks for showing us your Brug Valley (o:
Beautiful
Shirley, you are right I am waiting for green.
Today a friend told me that a special dog, called Malamut is changing wintercoat to summercoat. These dogs would change their coat always 4 weeks before spring.Believing this we will have spring in midd March. I hope so.
My large Avalon (B.aurea) opened one flower in living room tonight, its smelling good in house.
GL
Lucky you Ludger. I have three blooms on Maya almost ready to open. I can't wait for that smell to be drifting into my bedroom again.
I'm afraid we might have longer than that to wait for spring here, but I got my bubble insulation for the greenhouse today and I hope to get it installed this week. Then I'll test to see what kind of temps it will hold on cold nights. Just need to get my fingers in the dirt. Wish I had a bloomer in the house. It has been a long time since I have smelled brug fragrance.
Shirley, you'll have to let me know how that works for holding heat in.
It better work really well. I'd like to at least see the savings in heating costs pay for the plastic. It will have to help some, I'm sure. Monika uses it so it must be good. I'm not sure I have the exact same stuff she uses, but it has the big bubbles in it and is pretty clear. Will let you know in a while how it works.
Smile, I use bubble, too. Some weeks ago we have had a heavy frosty night and GH was not wrapped. The heating kept 39.2°F and at nights we wrapped the GH with bubble and after one hour it was 53.6°F.
Snow, one Brugflower in winter can make you happy like 100 in summer....
GL
I would love to have a flower right now!! Ludger, your place is a dream. Very lovely, I wish I could vacation at a place like that. (or actually there:)
tiG, I'm trying to talk my family into a ticket to Germany for my birthday but so far it hasn't worked. :) Guess it will be the usual hand shovel or new flower pot. LOL
can I go in your luggage??? I want dirt for all my gift holidays:) throw in a bag of fertilizer and I'm ecstatic!
Snow, give the mailadress from your family to me.......
tiG, please come together with Snow to Brugvalley,we will have a large brugparty.
GL
Hey, my DH asked me tonight what I wanted for Valentine's Day. I'm easy....I told him ten bags of potting soil from the local greenhouse. He said, "go get it and I'll pay for it". Beats a pound of candy or a dozen roses anytime. At least I'll get to use the soil until next fall. Maybe I should have told him that a vacation to Germany would be great.
LOL! that's funny Shirley, I have to go get mine too! lol
Ludger, you and monika don't know what you'd be in for if the crazy bunch from this side descended on Germany.
It didn't work for me Shirley. When they asked what I wanted for my birthday and I said a plane ticket to Germany they just looked at each other, rolled their eyes and said they had a little smaller gift in mind. LOL
Hmmmm tiG, Fertilizer sounds like a winning gift. Thanks for the idea.
Ludger, Don't be surprised if we all show up someday. You just never know what the future will bring. :)
Ten bags will only get me started. I think I bought about 20 last year. I'm going to get the cheap stuff from WallyWorld this year for those I put in the ground though.
am waiting......
just come
coffee whole day, breakfast, dinner and lunch before and after brugsightseeing. May be one glass of champagne under brugflowers.
GL
1 glass would never be enough Ludger!
Ludger your home is beautiful. So relaxing and peaceful looking.
You all would have a heartly welcome from two nutty brug people (thats Ludger and me) and BIG brug party with my friends from the Landfrauenverein.
Ludger, love your home. I know you take great pride in what you have accomplished in life so far. Wish I could take you and Monika up on your offer to visit, maybe one day.
Larry
Ludger, Lovely photos of your castle. Is it a traditional syle in Germany?
Lufthansa had a special air fare, they have just started service into Portland (across the river from vancouver), (direct flights from PDX TO GERMANY - WOW) so they were offering a fair of like 418 to germany, and 448 anywhere in Europe. A lot of us took advantage of this special and booked flights. We are going to Turkey in April, my sister to Italy, one friend to Germany, and another to Spain. You guys shoudl keep your eyes open for special deals like this. To the people on the East Coast, I have often seen fare in the 300's to Europe...
Ludger and Monika, would love to pop in and visit you guys, but unfortunately, I will only be in the Frankfurt airport....Next time maybe...
pebble, if you are established in turkey you are invited to visit me.
Monika, Danke....It is much closer to come and go isnt it?
And you Monika, come visit us, we will be in a resort town, many German, Swiss and British people come there for holiday. My door is always open to you!
Thanks for your invitation, pebble! Let me know, when you leave for Turkey and when you will be at Frankfurt Rhein/Main - Airport.
