glad to see its not just me-will have to show my family-im not crazy. lol lol

I save EVERYTHING! This summer when DH was building DD's barn, every morning she would have those coffee cakes in the containers with lids. I had her save them. They are great as little mini greenhouses. I've also figured out that you can cut a milk carton in half and get two planting containers for seeds. Just keep the cap on the spout end and turn upside down and it sits perfectly. Yogurt cups are wonderful too as are butter bowls, etc.

I use all of those thing too, but this year I made those little newspaper pots with that wooden potmaker thingie. I love the results so far. Stand them all up together in plastic tray cover, divide the pots with cardboard if I don't want that many seedlings of something. Used this to start my sweetpeas early, and popped the whole little pots into ground. Plants are doing great. Easy way to start seeds that don't want their roots disturbed.
