Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

Dripping Springs, TX

Are they Texas mtn laurel? Hard casing?

yes, redish-orange hard seeds

Scarification. I think the seeds are more viable when fresh from the pod. Cuttings from juvenile trees works the best. TX Mtn Laurels grow really slow. If they don't work---I'll send you some later in the season.
