Well Hello there y'all!!!

Why you've come to the right place to see our wonderful Shoe get all blushed up with the love and good natured humor we rubbed up on him for his birthday. Shucks - he was almost speechless - near about reached for a pair of shoes too. (It was getting kinda deep in there) Hahah. Sit back and join us for a pictoral kinda tribute to our favorite guy.....

I named this thread SAY CHEESE cause Alex took pictures of us too - and that's what she wanted us to say so we'd smile for the camera!!!! Good job Alex!!!!

OK - Well I came up to the steps of the Shoffice - and what would meet me but this old hippie guy with a cane and a horn on it.....

WEll - this cane that old man was a honkin on - even had a sign sayin so....

So now the fun stuff starts - A great big bag of goodies and the family to join in. Now folks - let me tell you - Alex gives her daddy a whole lotta peace in the coming pictures!!!

There was this "old geezer bag" full of goodies - just what an old man needs - a horsey card - hair tonic, gold bond medicated powder, castor oil, and oh yeah - corn pads...

Great job swoznick. This is almost like being there! I can hardly wait till he actually does hit the big 50 if this is any example of how much we all love him. I goofed and didn't get my gift in the mail in time but now I will save it 'till he really does hit 50.

This was so much fun!! Thanks for all the compliments - but how could a photog like me loose with such a wonderful subject to take pictures of? I mean - really? Actually Alex took pictures of my son and myself with Shoe and Alexandria to commemorate the occasion. I'm leaving that up to Shoe if he wants to post it. It was his day and time to shine - and shine he did....

Great job Swoz, I sure enjoyed it. You had an enviable job and there are many of us who would have loved to have been in your shoes when you delivered the loot. Thanks for the pics.

thanks so much for the pics! They are great. How can you look at those and not have a big ole' shoe size 10 smile slapped across yer face! I agree with Mary, many of us would have loved to be there, this was the next best thing. We love ya Shoe!

Louisa...no chilblains here, feet are too calloused over! At this point if I were to wear shoes on a regular basis my tough feet would wear them out from the inside!
