YIPEE~! Monika's Brug book is making its way to us very soon! I can hardly wait, but guess I'll have to.....I'd hang out at the mailbox like c.c., but since it will probably be several days until the books reach tiG's house, I better go back inside and warm up. It's ccccold out there, but not as CCCCOLD as c.c.'s neck of the woods!
When should we pay you the extra moolah tiG and how many Franks (is that German currency)???
Franks was from France. Germany has had the D-Mark.
Today most European Countries use the EURO, since 1.1.2002.
Tig must wait for a mail from Monika, I just phoned Monika. She still is waiting for the books because of the snowchaos here at streets and airports yesterday.

right, the extra will depend on the postage and also we will need to make up enough between us to cover the other Euro draft. Any extra last time went to help cover the first one ($15) It won't add that much between everyone.
Thanks Ludger! Franks, Kronas, D-Mark....gets VERY confusing! Thanks to the EURO we won't have to worry about currency converting :~) The EURO is pretty even with the U.S.$, right???

it was $1 US to .86 Euros when I went to the airport last week. not sure what it is today, it changes all the time.

The converting is much more expensive.
My really opinion:
People who ordered the book should give some money more( one dollar???).
It would be "unfair" if Monika or you would have to pay more money for posting as you will get back.
Itīs only my opinion.........sorry if I should have said anything wrong.

no no, you didn't. it's the standard charge here, you can't just get the draft anywhere, so they know they can charge what they like!
I just want to make sure that monika has every single page paid for, she's gone to so much trouble. I know everyone here feels the same way, it won't be a problem:)

well, I've got a message in to Monika, I'm not sure what to do. This order is closed, and it costs $15 for each Euro draft to get more. I do have 2 other people asking for books, haven't answered yet, waiting on how I can help get the books if I can. I will have an answer for you and the others soon. Hang in there, it's worth it.
tiG, will we need to get a Euro draft for the extra postage? Maybe the extra books could sneak in on that?
