another round robin

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

I have decided to sponser another anything goes round robin. you can put in any type of seed. Just try and match them. Like if you take out a pack of herb seeds try and replace with another pack of herb seeds. please post here to join in as it will make it easier to keep up with and if i need your addy I will let you know. I think a cut off date to join of feb. 5th will do good. That gives 2 weeks for every one to sign up that wants to p[articipate. So come on and join in on the fun.

smokeymist got you down for it. all that it involves is this. I start a package of so many seeds and mail it to the next person on the list. that person takes out what they want and repaces it with how ever many packs they took out. just try and kep it in a good variety. if you take out annuals replace with annuals if you can etc.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Count me in!! I love RR's!!

I wouldn't miss the chance to trade seeds with the ZZ!!

Mcallen, TX(Zone 8a)

Could peeps please post som of your wishes here? (I am gonna order seeds and will use the wishlist to help decide.)

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

That's a loaded question, Lavanda! We all usually just trade what we have; or, perhaps, have previously received from another RR.

But, if you're asking, I'm interested in some cactus seeds, buckeye tree seeds or Japanese Maple seeds :)

Mcallen, TX(Zone 8a)

OOOOH.... what kind cactus?

I love these too, but am starting them from pads - and I can easily get ya some!

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

My first time also
TLC

Mukwonago, WI(Zone 5a)

Could I be included,,that is...if there is room for one more??? One dumb question? Would it be OK to add more packets than what is taken? I have so many seed varieties that will probably never get planted if they continue to sit in my seed box.
Renee in Wisconsin

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

I'd like to join, too.

Lavanda ~ starting from pads? What does that mean? I didn't have any particular variety in mind other than a FASTer growing species. Actually, I'm thinking about changing my approach on a project I'm doing with a classroom. I volunteer to present an artist each month. This month is "Cave Art". I am going to have the children draw cave art on plastic pottery pots. I thought a cactus in these might be a better choice than flowers. But, I know cactus's take awhile to grow. If I started them now, how big would one get between now & Mother's Day? Would it even sprout? I'd love to learn more about the pads separately from the RR since I've got a timing issue.

Ruby, I don't want to speak for JCF, but I think adding more packets is almost always appreciated. They are great to have on hand for newbies :)

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

morph is right, extras are fine. i normally offer them to newbies and others for sase. so anyone having extras they need to unload please feel free to add. at this point we have25 people signed up. this is going to be a big one. I will probaly send out 3 envelopes to three different routes. will be posting particulars and route soon.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

wow, lots of people.......this will be fun :o) just don't put me first on the list........LOL

Kearney, NE(Zone 5a)

I'd like to be included in the RR too.
Thanks Jackie
