yea Doug!!!!!! I knew he'd come through PJ, he's a really great guy!
L'Amour Pollen
Hint for brug envy: get over it, lol. it's not easy, took me a while. but there are a lot of euros here now and their seeds can make real beauties also. plant seeds from good crosses. PJ, i remember what your DH said about friends, a truly smart friend.
DR you've had as bad a winter with me heathwise. sorry to hear it.
Oh gosh Arlene, I wouldn't call it envy, just a little lusty maybe... It would be great to add some new genes to the pool. I am just hoping that eventually we can add some of the richer colors. With all the work that has already been done, we have some real beauties, now if we can just add a few more genes to play with.
Tracey, i'm sure you are right, but for me it was terrible terrible brug envy. there are lots of great crosses this year, and while it'll take time to catch up with our european friends, i just know we're gonna have a lot of special new brugs grown this year. that's what i've been telling myself for the last year anyway. anticipating the first seedlings blooms and thank you to all of you who shared seeds with me!!!!!! I hope you have lots of great seeds started also. you have a beautiful wintering room for them.
Does being still in the envelope count? I was trying to hold out till the end of the month to get things start. It will still be cold here till the end of March first of April or longer. I am trying not to get into to big a rush, but it is hard, I want spring to be here yesterday. I can't wait to see what they bring. I will be growing out a few for a friend but next year....
