Can anyone tell me how to propagate a spathiphyllum?

the only time I ever tried was when I was given a rootbound pot of them this past summer. I thoroughly soaked the pot and carefully separated all the many plants (and there were many!). Then I repotted a few in each of 8-10 3" pots and left them in my shade garden. Much of the old foliage died but all produced new growth sprouts. By summer's end, most looked pretty good and I brought them inside. Now, at about 6 months later, I have 6 full, good looking new plants and one superb one where I used more plants and a larger pot. I think if I had a greenhouse, better light and better controlled conditions I might have saleable plants from them.
