I have a Chinese Pistache that was six feet when I got it, and fifteen now. This growth has been in about five years. It is a gorgeous thing! Is it common for the bark on this kind of tree, to peel/split? I haven't seen any pests, and there is nothing girdling the tree. The tree doesn't appear affected by this bark event, but I worry about it, should I?
