Oscar says hi too.
ABADS
They're all so cute! Sorry I hijacked your thread, Larry, but I would love it if you could post pics of some of your dogs. You don't see longhaired dachshunds very often. My sister has a 1 year old longhaired chihuahua.
Go ahead - be brave Arlene - enlarge it. LOL
Liz....thanks, lol. someday i'll give up and wear glasses. Tonny, what cute babies you have! this thread is a keeper, all our pets!
oh I would love to have number 1!! but they are all too cute and cuddly
Kell, that is the favorite one, LOL My kids (all 4 of them ) fight over who gets to hold that one. And to think, it was pure white with one dark patch on her ear just 4 weeks ago. THey all looked like little white balls when they weree born but are finally starting to get some color. That one is just getting the color faster than the rest.
beautiful CC and a great a pair. I used to live wiht a gal who had a samoyed. beautiful dogs.
He's not a samoyed,he's a Great Pyrenees,Polar.The black is a Great Dane,her name is Cinders......
CC, i love those pyrnees. my neighbor with goats has two, and friends with goat farm DS works for part time have 3. they really heard goats.
LOL, I just thought he was a poorly bred samoyed because of the shape of his face......... but I did not want to hurt your feelings CC.......LOL! But he has the samoyed tail down pat.....LOL
I never heard of a Great Pyrenees. he looks like a great bear of a dog. Tell Polar I am sorry.......you have ignorant friends........LOL
he'd be bummin if he thought he was poorly breed....LOL
Great Pyrenees are wonderful dogs CC, there's one at a nursery I go to, and he's a fabulous dog.
lol, I didn't open the thumbnail, and thought it was a slightly pudgy Samoyed with a heavy winter coat! (We had two Samoyeds - I'd love to have another one!) The pyrenees are great dogs, too I hear.
CC, you must like gentle giants. What lovely dogs. And I thought Snickers, my Airedale was large---are they inside dogs?
Poppysue If you have anymore laying around like that one I'll take it! I love tiny dogs. is he sweet tempered?
melody, I'm sorry I've forgotten, what breed is Carly???
He's a SHE... Maxine :o) Yes ... she's a sweetie-pie and getting to be a little, old lady now. Quite the fatty... and lazy too - just like her momma!
she's beautiful melody, and very well-behaved. All the dogs at the RU were just great, especially her.
Donna, Isabella looks just qute and very much awake :) At first I thought it was a yard dog, but I looked up the race and see that the rat dog has the same old use in US as the yard dog in Sweeden and Denmark ... tho they are a bit different both has the same lively and wake temperement too. I bet Isabella is a lot of fun to play with *lol* I hope she lets you watch the birds also :)
Cinders, the Dane comes in the house, she's about 10 now and starting to get arthritic,Polar we keep outside,he's the chicken guard,he hangs out in the barn .We do have to keep him tied up or in the fence because he likes to dump the neighbors garbage........
Sue,maxie looks like an ewok....LOL
soooo cute
I guess I think small dogs are cute but they are just too hyper for me,the big dogs are slow and easy going.....plus they scare the heck out of sales people!
oh Liz, he's stunning!! and poppy, better watch Maxi, too too cute!
Poppysue what breed of pooch is maxine?
Kell do you take a shower with your pet? If so, how do you keep the feathers from clogging the drain? LOL
Liz, your puppy is darling. Also, I have a chair just like yours, wish I had the footstool to match.
Squirt here saying Hi to all my new dog friends. I'm a ShihTzu and my mom says I need a bath. My eyes look funny in this photo, but maybe someday she will learn how to use her camera right. I'm a good dog except that at 11-1/2 years of age, everyone still thinks I'm a puppy. Well, just because I jump on them when I greet them doesn't mean I'm not a nice sophisticated gal. At least I don't get so excited that I dribble anymore. I can't have babies and that makes my mom sad, but she loves me bunches anyway.
CC, I use to have one just like yours. Raised it from a baby and everyone use to feed it. After he was grown he got very possessive of me and would not let anyone else near him or his cage except me. He was exposed to many people when he was growing but then all of a sudden, he would not let anyone near him, even those that had fed him by hand . . only me. When he was out, I was the only one that could put him back in. I could pet him and hold him and he loved that . . he was always trying to feed me! I wish that he would have not attached himself to me so strongly. I have seen other birds grown that don't mind other people. When my grandson started walking, I was so worried about him getting near the cage and the bird hurting him. It was a very large cage and had large spaces where anyone could put their hand in. I had to give him to a friend because I could not bear the thought of one of my grandson's fingers or hand getting biten off and it is just impossible to watch both of them constantly and I do not believe in putting birds in a room by themselves. Your picture brings back so many memories.
