We lost another 3 teens this week-end (that is 6 this month from this area) alcohol was used and seatbelts were not.
We lost a little 6 year old boy 3 days ago, the babysitter had him in the back seat and both forgot the seatbelt, he was killed when a local attorney hit the car. The attorney is facing his 5th DWI along with Many other charges.
All 4 would probably be alive with seatbelts!! They are not always the most comfortable thing, but neither is getting That visit or call from the hospital.
The best holiday you can give your family and they can give you, is to make the effort to stay alive.

You're so right, and thank you for this post. I wear my seatbelt all the time and it's gotten to where I feel like something is missing when it's not buckled. There are instances where lives could have been saved if people had NOT worn their belts, but those cases are very, very rare (according to an EMT friend of mine).
