Lantana seeds

After the frost got my Lantanas I went out and collected all the black berries. Some where dry and shriveled up and some where still wet berries.
They are all dry now but I wonder if I should have tried to get the berry part off them first.
How do I start these in the spring?

Think someone said you could just plant the whole berry?

Just plant the "berry" about a 1/4 inch deep, and keep moist until established.
