Brug rooting

DR,
I have attached a picture of a Brug of mine that is growing in clay...it never gets fed and the only water it gets is from the grass sprinkler and rain....this picture was taken
in October...can you imagine how nice it could be if I fed it...this is Jessie Noel

Gloria, she is very pretty. Jesse and Becca are both great looking brugs.

Glory that's wonderful and you have pine trees in the background I haven't seen those for awhile. You said yours is in clay and gets watered by the sprinkler. What do you feed the lawn with? Is it getting some of that? What is your water like? Do you have any wind problems?

DR,
I don't feed the lawn...there is to just much of it....2 1/2 acres. We have well water and it is very soft water...it has a blue tint to it. I wouldn't say it is windy here until a storm comes through. Yes, that is pine trees and yes they are ugly but since that's all we have right now I guess they will have to do. This property used to belong to International Paper Company and they grew pulp wood here...that's why we have all these pines.
You know I just thought of something...we are on a septic tank here and the leach field runs the whole length of the house in the front...I bet the Brug roots have found that run off. Huuuuummmm

Why does everyone have huge yards and I have a tiny one??? I feel deprived!

Owen I tried that grow mix this year, the one with Osmocote in it, and it molded on me. I wonder if it has something to do with humidity? It is very humid here. I thought I might try adding a little perlite to mine this year, it didn't look like it had very much in it. Well I think I will give the new babies a little fertilizer then I had wonder about this.

Kell,
I think the answer to your question on the yard size has something to do with the high prices for housing in CA....the more land the higher the cost. My daughter lives in San Diego and the price of housing is out of this world.
