Jt's seedling

Thanks Gloria, I tossed a lot of small to medium size pods this year. Most would have been pollinated by nature, but I had a couple of crosses that might have been okay. So long ago that the brugs went to the compost pile here, I can barely remember.

S,
Here is a picture of the cutting that I rooted with the large pods on it.

This is a Valley Misty Pink cutting....thought it was hardwood but it's a simi hard wood.

Gosh Gloria, those pods look great. I'm sure going to try this next year if my pods aren't ripe by frost time, and they won't be. How long have those been rooted? I'm sitting here thinking about all the seeds that could have been this year. Especially the ones on Maya and Dr. S.

S,
I'm not sure I forgot to look at the date on the tag but I planted it the weekend Larry from Al was here...Larry when were you here in Biloxi? At least three or so weeks now.

They sure look good and will probably go ahead and do their thing. The one time I tried it, with a full sized pod, the pod got soft, so I just chucked the whole thing. Maybe I didn't wait long enough. Too late to worry about it for this year.
