I would like to have pods please if u still have? LMK email me.
Anyone interested in seeds can either send a padded envelope and 55 cents worth of stamps, or send $1.10 and I'll get both, or send 55 cents worth of stamps and 55 cents and I'll buy the envelope. I have around 90 seed pods collected.

Each seedpod has several hundred seeds in it, but I feel the germination rate must not be real high. The fragrance is outstanding, and they just take care of themselves. They can be anywhere from 3 to 7 feet tall. Young ones have a single bloom, but as the bulb gets older, it will have multiple blooms on the stalk. The dried pods look much like a candlabra (sp?) when there are multiple blooms, great for dried arrangements.
I have never seen any that tall, ever!
They've been around here a long time I guess. I got my start from my husband's grandmother back in the early eighties. I took some to my mother (that's the property I own now in AL that has so many). They just sowed freely and are in an open old field and under some pines we planted 10 or so years ago. There aren't that many here where I live, but I'm gonna scatter some more seed so hopefully I'll get more. Sometimes I dig the bulbs and just bring them over.
Hi Gingerlily, I love to have a few seeds of this Lily. I live in the Netherlands. SASE is difficult for me. Can I send you something instead?
Saya
That will be fine, Saya. Give me a little time to look up some of the seeds on your trade list. And send me your address.

Mailed seeds today to vredfish and cjs41. Loved the card vredfish. Will treasure that. May frame it, but I love to feel the texture too.

Done!!
Got mine; Thank You
How wonderful! they are so beautiful
arlene
Arlene,
Did the pods get crushed or did they make it so you got a good idea what they are like? Imagine 4 or 5 of these on one stalk standing up straight like a candlabra.
Ginger do you have any left? Send me you address.
Pods must have gotten crushed; all I saw was little flat seeds.
Yes, tarogers5, I still have plenty. Will email my address.
TWC--my mistake. I forgot you sent the small white envelope, so I didn't include the pods as they were to big to put in that envelope.
Hi, The seeds you've requested are in the mail. Please save some seeds up for me. What a huge lilly is this. Do you know what species it is? I'm looking forward to its scent.
Thanks ahead Gingerlilly,
Saya
Rec'd my seeds today and they weren't crushed. Thanks so much.
Ruth
Ginger would love some of these seeds, you should email me we can do some seeds and the iris trade at same time. I have mexican bird of paradise bush seeds, some miniature datura seeds and some wild butterfly weed seeds (the bright orange that the monarchs feed on) somewhere around here !!!
katrina
Hey Pam, do you happen to have any of these seeds left?? I would like to try and naturalize them in my wooded area. PLMK,
Thanks, Dee
Yes, Dee, still have some. Will email my address. I don't think they would do exceptionally well in heavy shade, but they will grow in shade like under pines.
Mailed seeds yesterday to Farizona and hunter_X.
Mailed seeds today to paintedlady and saya.
I still have plenty to share.
Wow! I received these in today's mail. I can't wait to germinate. Much appreciated!
gingerlily, thanks for the seeds! You were so generous. I really appreciate it.
Gingerlily,
I would love to try my luck at some of these, if you have any left. Email me your address and I'll send you a check. Thanks
Mailed seeds to plantsdirect and legit yesterday (10th).
Mailed seeds to pcelizabeth today.
Thanks Gingerlily. When is the best time to start these?
Hi gingerlily, Got my seeds today. Thanks so much.
Well, about planting...I have never planted any. Nature has always done it around here. And nature has just finished (may still be a few in the pods). But I don't think they will do any germinating til spring. I am going to try my hand at starting some too. I would cover very lightly if at all considering the type of seed they are.
