Thanks kell, it got so much bigger than I expected though! At the nursery it was labeled 'super dwarf cavendish' but I suspect it's a 'dwarf cavendish' instead. I can't imagine a super dwarf getting this big.

Gnomey, just a friendly advice... if i were u, i would relocate that banana plant u have growing next to ur house. the rhizome has a mind of it's own. from previous experiences of growing them, the rhizome can break through cement. most banana plants i've seen grown in the orient, are planted farthest away from the house perimeter. just my 2 cents.
