New White Canna ..Help with a Name??

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

Thank you for the information -- all very useful in understanding/invisioning/anticipating this canna. It sounds as if it has more advantages than I expected (most blooms dropping clean, attractive contrast with foliage, long bloom period, etc.). Can you tell us something about the form of the foliage? (I am at least as interested in canna foliage as in their blooms.) Is it erect, thin, pointed, broad, horizontally extended, ribbed texture, smooth?

Is it developed from a C. glaucus line?

Re. your last sentence -- Beloved will not be available, even in small quantities or small rhizomes (even for special, or especially obsessed people) until spring 2004? Perhaps broader field trials would benefit your development project (hinthint, winkwink, nudgenudge).

Rik, that would still make you number 6...
