Howie and I have been doing a lot of reading about dog foods and the manufacturers of it. We were disappointed when we learned that Iams has changed their formula since being bought by Proctor & Gamble, too. Now they have chicken byproducts listed instead of just chicken. That can mean all sorts of stuff and depending on what they had on hand when they made a batch, the nutritional content can vary (chicken feathers and feet vs. chicken meat, etc.).
More disturbing, I also found this http://www.uncaged.co.uk/iamsexpress.htm while researching, and it's pretty sobering, especially when you consider that Iams has this great reputation. Obviously, some amount of testing must go on with any food product, but this is just awful. :(
