The Dr. of course!! Looks like a harvest moon!! Never saw him so orange before.
Guess Who???/
me either!! what a great picture, and I'm glad your friends will see him!!!
Yeah - there are some "normal" yellow ones on him too - this one is really ready for Haloween, Punkin color!!
Now that is a pretty thing. My favorite of all. Mine has changed to deep orange also. Seems like the more blooms the deeper the orange gets.
Mine are orange too.
Great color. Too bad the whole plant doesn't put out orange flowers like this one. Very pretty.
Gee Azalea......... if your wrist is not a mini one, then this flower is so HUGE!!! Very nice!
Azalea, That is absolutlely beautiful! If anyone has seed from an orange one, may I humbly beg, plead, with sugar on top for just a few seeds?????? Pretty Pretty Please! Mike in on DG's right now and guess what folks, we have another brug addict, ROFLMAO He has agreed to allow me to plant about 1/4 of the useable front yard to put in my brug garden, :-)
Annie
Annie, seed won't come true, but I'm sure someone here has cuttings
:-( with lots of tears! I have about 30+ right now that I did start from seed. But if anyone does have a cutting, I'm back to the humbly begging area, :-)
Annie
Annie - you have mail!!
'Brugs are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you will get'
seeds are fabulous, Annie, I just wanted you to know that a seed from an orange won't necessarily be orange. It might be pink!!!! lol!
gee tiG, where did I hear that line before............... LOL
hehehe!! nut!
tiG, at this point, I would be dancing in the yard for ANY color to bloom. I think I'm gonna try for the queen of the rainbow, LOL and see how many different colors I can do, :-)
Azalea, HUGS!!!!!
Annie
hey, there you go!!! a new Queen emerges from the shadows!!!
and I suppose she is going to get a crown also like you got tiG! Here I am crownless and pinkless in San Leandro!!
How pretty. Love the deep orange.
tiG, I just received a few cuttings for a salmon brug she has in her front yard. She doesn't know what they are so I guess I'm going to have to wait to see what it looks like when it blooms.
Annie
Queen of the Rainbow (in the making).
where did you get them?? send me your addy
WOW.. so beautiful and so orange.. seeds?????
Mini - I have no seeds, I have had this one about 5 years, and never had any others to pollenate it til this year - so sorry, no pods! It only started blooming about 3 weeks ago. The first blooms were bright yellow - now they are coming out orange.
I told ya!! :) PJ, it's gorgeous, you did put a tag on him right??
Didn't need to tag this one - It's the only really big one I have!!
yes, but you told him his name, right??
PJ. . You have a really pretty bloom there!
Yes Momma TIg, I Impressed on him his Degree as DR.
Poor kid, needs to be adopted, and given a name. Do you need my address?
Annie: Before you go dancing in the yard....please get dressed!

LOL!!!! PJ, this is really a fabulous picture! Gloria, do you need a cutting of the DR?? I can save one back for you.
How is the one I gave you doing??? Any blooms??
no, it's still a baby, I haven't had time to feed any of them at all. But it will bloom next year, and I want it to look just like that!!!
PJ, has this one been in the ground and come back for five years? need to know!!!
Yep, don't even mulch it!! He's about 9 ft tall with seven stalks about 2 in across.
This is my very first brug - I got it at a plant auction for $2.50, didn't have any blooms, I didn't really know what I had!! It was just marked Angel Trumpet! Never even heard of them before - what a surprise I was in for, huh!!

how heavy is it blooming PJ?
very pretty!!!
That orange bloom has to be the darkest orange I've ever seen. Wonder what we need to do to get one that blooms this way all the time.
Wish I knew!!
It's so nice seeing that pretty setting again! I really like the different elevations that you have.
Absolutely gorgeous. I love the orange ones.
