new seedling

(Zone 6a)

tiG, will you pretty please save me a hardwood cutting of this one next year? with sugar on it?

- and caramels. *LOL*

tiG, do you think it will curl the limb more, than it already does?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm not sure what you mean Tonny, you mean the tendrils??

Eh ... *LOL* both tendrils and the broad part below the tube. :)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I have no idea what it will do next :) it's a small flower, I need to measure, and I don't know if it's because it's cool or if that will be it's full size.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Tonny, got a chance to check on her, it doesn't appear it will have the recurve of EP or Pink Beauty, but it is holding a wonderful shape. if the baby takes a nap soon (please God!!!) I will take a daytime picture.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

here is the daytime shape. pretty much exactly as at 6 am.

ok. Will throw in a box of caramels too:)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Beautiful Tig! That is one I would be begging for !!!!

(Zone 6a)

That's what I am doing:) LOL

tiG, I have no words to describe, what I like especially about this one. Yes, but I love all of it, but if you picture the edge. One the flower on the left you have the tendrils pointing upwards. Exactly midwaysbetween each of the tendrils there is "something" pointing down. It is this part I like the best, but I don`t have a word for it. *LOL* If it was a Datura and the edge was pentagonal or decagonal I would have called it the secondary teeth, with the tendrils as the primary teeth. *LOL* Thanks for the picture. Does the little one sleep?:)

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Congratulations, tiG. Its a real beauty!!!!!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

You're killing me tiG! How many were white? Don't tell me they were all pink like this?
What was the cross again? The envious green is making me forgetful.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Good name for it..."ENVY",we are all pink with envy

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Liz, this is the first to bloom. I have one more named the same cross. Tonny, I sure hope all the flowers come out like the one on the left, wondering if perhaps them being so close together disfigured the one on the right??

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

You have outdone yourself with this one. What an absolute marvel.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I didn't do anything but keep it alive:) and plant the right seed. do you ever wonder if one you still have in the box is 'the' one??? I do!! or if that little runt seedling that you let go to brug heaven while you took care of the healthier ones was it??

Brooksville, ME(Zone 5a)

so pretty. I will have to start growing some pink ones next spring.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Think of it this way Tig.No matter who did the pollination,it was just a seed and like most seed would never be planted or reach it's potential. It is equally the hybridizer and the one who grows the seed that is responsible for the new plant. No hybridizer can grow all his or her own seedlings.
And yes,I often wonder about the ones still in the seed jar.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Very pretty..........can't wait for this one to be available.
