Lovely plant she looks so elegant. How long did this beauty take from seed to bloom? Kristi

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Oh that is very lovely. The deep pinks are my favorites.

it is pretty. what is a v. candida? and i guess colors weren't given with the cross?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no arlene, that's all it said. this isn't the one I gave you, this has put out no side shoots at all. It's about 3 1/2 ft tall at best.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

tiG, It's beautiful. I really like this one with the long tendrils and darker pink.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

so you don't know what v. candida means? am interested to know.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no:) I was hoping someone could tell me!!!! I've got a lot of pictures I'm going to upload, comparing color to EP.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm going to put a couple more pictures in this thread. This is comparing first morning seedling to 4th day bloom of EP on the left.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

tiG,
I think I will have room for this one when I come by on the 20th. I will make sure I have room for it. LOL. One of the unknown you gave me is in full bloom. it looks like a Dr. S. Really strong scented.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

it had a tag in it Larry, if it was potted, it is DR Seuss, one of the two big potted ones was.

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

Yes, you gave me a potted DR SEUSS, it opened last night, looks just like the other with no tag. The other big one was Shirleys. I have a second seed pod forming on Shirleys also.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

so beautiful!!

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

I notice on the welcome mat that yourr middle name was Arlene. I think you should change it to PINK ANGEL. You hae really put on a show with all the pinks lately.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Hasn't she though?? She has the "pink touch".

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well, of course I'm already thinking of names, but there are so many that start with Pink. think I'll wait a bit

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Wow !! That is really beautiful Tig.

tig; if and when you do get cuttings from this, please keep me in mind. I am totally in love with this one. I'm not much for asking anyone for anything, but I'm breaking that rule on this beauty.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

CoCo, it will for sure be spring or summer before I have this one. I need to pot it up so it will grow more, and I hope to have seed pods on it all winter. I wish I could send everyone here a piece right now.

Yes, figured that it wouldn't be till next year sometime or even after that. I do thank you tig

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

so these were some of the seeds from monika?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

they are from Herrenhauser Garten. they aren't monikas crosses.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

but monika sent them, right. somedays i wish i had held my mouth right so i would have gotten some of those seeds. speaking of which, i can't remember what seeds i won on your name cherie amour.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

these came from Jeanne, and I'm not sure which ones came from where before that, I keep getting confused. I don't know if there was an order from anywhere that was mixed in with these or not.
If you're willing to wait on the seeds, I hope you will grow some of the CA seeds. lmk, it has 11 pods on it so far.

It always come as a surprise to me, how beautiful and special a new hybrid can turn out - and I have studied every picture of new ones posted. Sometimes I think, that THIS is the one ultimate hybrid and no one gets it better as I imagine it, but again I was wrong and hopefully always will be. I have always loved EP, but the color of this one is deeper and the margin and tendrils seems deeper and longer, that in EP and the tube wider. Kyles Pink is also a beauty. This new one is stunning.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

All of your pinks are so.... beautiful!!

Bet you are in 7th Heaven? You lucky girl!
