Hopefully someone might know what these are, good, bad, throw in the towel & grow rocks? Sorry to be so gun shy/sarcastic but we lost a lot of vine plants to some silly worm/catepillars this week while we were sick & when I found these, well.... just hoping friends here at Dave's can either ease our mind if not harmfull or if they should be removed etc. what organic type prevention etc. we might follow.

Good to see you posting again. If they hatch, they don't move around too much the first day or two, so you can still squash them. A squirt of pyrethrum will get them too if they've hatched.

Well if interested in an update & FYI, these little dudes really POP when you hit them with a lighter ;-) Still pretty sick here & on my morning walk to drink my coffee thru the garden I pulled the leaf & took it over to my chair to examine it closer. Didn't want to make a mess on my fingers at the moment so thought I would burn them (yes I'm none to happy with pests at this point in time taking over like they did while I've been sick). Well anyway they put on a small firecracker type display for me one by one!! :-) Made me feel a tad better at the moment anyway :-)
