For those of you who missed the lunar eclipse last Tuesday (visable from Europe and Africa) here is a photo I took while the moon was about half covered by the shadow of the Earth.

Mark, WOW! I just came from your photo album!! What a treat..Your pics are beautiful. How did you get such a neat picture of the bat in the safari section? I also liked your aviary pics. I am the mom to a Nanday Conure named "Eli". He is so sweet. I just got him 3 days ago and he is spoiled rotten already! What kind of camera do you use? Beautiful pics. Thanks for sharing, Bye, LIsa

Hi Mark,
I just checked out your pics and they're great! What kind of camera and lenses? I dabble some in photography too and am always curious. By the way,I've got a digital coming this week--Olympus D-490. I'm ready to jump into the cyber-imaging game. Been too long with my 20 year old Canon--gotta keep up.

another note---my ancestors came from Antrim in about 1750.
Last name Faith.

hi all

the camera I use for all my work is a Canon auto focus SLR with a
75mm lens for normal shots
200mm for my closeup work
300mm for wildlife and other distant work.

I have just bought a X2 converter to make my 300mm into a 600mm lens

Mark
