it's going to be gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! oh I couldn't stand it!!!

WOW. That looks gorgeous.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That is sure a nice plant! Lots of blooms coming!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It's loaded with flower buds!! Are those your "air layering" spots on the stems?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks everyone. I'm crossing my fingers that we don't have one of those windy storms. Are supposed to get rain tonight and tomorrow and right now it is sprinkling. We need it so badly.

Cala, yes, those are my air layering spots. They are full of roots and I need to cut, but I want to see the whole plant in bloom. I don't think it will be a problem since it is still connected and if the roots give out in the plastic I'll just let Kyle finish maturing the pods at his house. He is going to dig this big thing up. I'm not in the digging mode anymore.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh my . . what a sight that will be. Can't wait to see a picture of all those beautiful blooms. So glad Kyle is going to help you with this one.

(Zone 6a)

You are in for quite a show there with that plant:) Lucky you:) Send us a pic again in two or three days of this one.

Frannie, Kyle is going to keep the plant. I have some started to carry over for next year. I'm doing all of my brugs in pots so I can move them to shade when it is so blasted hot.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Looks like it will be one spectacular site to see. Beautiful.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Oh Shirley, She's a real beauty. Can't wait to see all those blooms open.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Wow Brugie Wow!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I can't wait to see it all bloomed!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I don't know if it is the wind or what, but the blooms are not opening up. This is today's picture.

Looks pretty good to me!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

PJ, tonight the blooms are still not open. It is really windy today so I'm just going to let myself think that tomorrow will bring open blooms.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Good luck!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

is really pretty brugie, you've done really well at getting blooms. i feel like i am just catching up.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

You will have blooms way after mine are put to sleep for the winter Arlene. Hope to see lots of your pictures.

I'm going to have to shut down the puter. Bad storms. Hope my brugs are still standing when it is over.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

so do I!!!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

sorry I missed you tonight Brugie. Hope all is OK and that the storm treats your brugs with the respect they deserve!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Is it open this morning??????

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Yes, CC. I went out to check the damage and it is open but not a very pretty color in the dull, cloudy environment it is living in. I'll get a picture later to add to this thread. Did have several brugs blown over with Golfito being the only one that lost a branch. The way it blew last night, I figured I'd be mailing cuttings today.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

How do they look today, Shirley? It must be a great sight to see all flowers open at one.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, I'm going out to get a picture even though it is so dreary outside. Will be back in a bit, hopefully with a good enough picture to post.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Here is the latest picture. Everything is kind of wet and I have to get quite a ways away to get the whole plant, so I just took one of some of the bloom up close.

what a fabulous site, I bet you are going back out to enjoy!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

No tiG, it is too cold and wet out there. The wind is blowing and it is just plain miserable. Even the dog wanted to get back in the house. The brugs are on their own today.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well can I come up and enjoy?? it must be a true site to behold. One flower stands out from a distance, I can't imagine a whole tree in bloom!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Here is most of the plant and it will be blooming for a while. Hope the sun and fresh rainfall will soon make it open more. May have to wait on the sun for a while though.

Please send us some weather, rain only, not wind.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well that is really grand! Must brighten the dismal weather up!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

well done brugie, feeling a little green here, lol.....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I hope JT will read this thread. He sent me some cuttings of his brug and I'm hoping he will look at these pictures and tell me that they indeed are different.

Thanks everyone. I do like this brug a lot. It sure looks different with more than five blooms like it had the first flush.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

What a sight! No matter if Rosamond or its sister Pink Beauty, these flowers are gorgeous!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Shirley, It's absolutely beautiful!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks everyone. Sure wish it were darker though.

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)
