Canna Seeds

I saved some from last year and planted them this spring. What's the chance that they come up and how hard is it to grow canna's from seed?

Has anybody grown canna's from seed? If you have, will you please give me some advice.

I have grown quite a few from seed to bloom in 1 year. Nick the seed and soak it in water until you see a little white root growing(could take several weeks...change water daily). Then plant in a pot until it is big enough to put in yard. Works great for me.
