AWWWWW Waking up to a thread like this is worth getting OLD for.....yes, susie...I'm 39..MANY times...each one just gets better!

My DD's are taking me to BIG TOWN (Tucson) for the Gem and Mineral Show (not getting a gem though...just some tools to work with...maybe a few geoeds to cut open to see what's inside), then lunch at Red Lobster (Poppysue....she what you started?). Since there are 4 of us clelebrating (??) birthdays this week ...all right here in the neighborhood, we're having a cook out on Sunday...there is comfort in numbers...if I get older it's nice to know that my DD, weedwalker, her DH, and a friend next door will all get older with me.

Oh, thank you, Jo! I was wondering what to do for my big day, and I think I will insist on lobster. I love that ugly critter. SIL always steals the limelight, since his is on 10-16 and he begins planning his party about 10-17 and spends megabucks on his entertainment. I think this year I will work on upstaging him! Thanks for getting me thinking.

WHAT A DAY!!! Ever had the Shrimp Feast at Red Lobster? Yummy! But as I am the "Gueen of Doggie Bags" I had enough to bring home for dinner. The Gem show was nice...just bought some beads to use in some crafts, but I think DD Weedwalker, invested in a lot more than we did....we left them there shopping as they weren't going on to lunch.

Thank all of you for the good wishes...It makes it worthwhile getting older having friends like all of you!!
