Last night we had some storms here in Atlanta that caused power outages. The davesgarden.com website was offline from around 6:30pm EDT until around 8:30pm EDT.

Because of the nature of the downtime, it took a while to get the site back up for everybody, so, while some people were able to access after 8:30pm, some were still unable to access last night at midnight.

Hopefully everybody can get to the site now. I apologize for the inconvenience.

OARN (On a Related Note): I have lined up a new ISP to host this website. They are in Knoxville (where I moving) and have an excellent connection to the net. I'll be giving them my server to put in their server room. This should eliminate any future downtime (once we get the system in place!!)

I know the there were at least 2 people who were in shock because we couldn't get into davesgarden.com. So glad it's back. Please don't ever take this site down. Voluntarily, I mean. Well, I guess you could after I've passed on to the next life. But not before. Ok? (I ask so little...)

WHEW!!! Don't ever do that to me again... Okay, Dave? Aunty's needed her Dave's Garden fix since yesterday afternoon! Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, drank WAY too much coffee waiting for this website to come back! My pointin finger now has a blister on it from all that clicking my mouse on your link tryin to get here! No matter how stubborn I was, I kept gettin "page cannot be displayed". I'm just gettin too old for this, Dave! I'm feelin a little bit better now, but still a little queezy and on the shakey side. (Think I'll go search thru some of the other forums here now...maybe chek out a few seed lists while I'm at it!) Pray for me, Dave. ;-)
