Monika, the family won`t let sleipnir run. We made the agreement over a month ago, so even that I worked hard on getting free from it, it didn`t work. You know, a man is a man, and a coward is a coward. *lol* Life was more simple, when I lived alone, but I must admit, that I love most sides of family life too *lol* :-) Are your open garden an annual event? I remember, when I bought Preissels book for J. L. Hudson, Seedsman some years ago I sneak-peaked on one of the last pages and read about open gardens and German rug meetings and I have dreamed about to saddle my goats ever since. *LOL* Gosh! I envy anyone visiting you Sunday, Monika. *lol* I think I will work on it some more. :-)
btw. Ludger must have taken hundreds of pictures. Has his camera its own hard disk or did he download on your computer? *lol* Glad he saved some from your Brug shedder. If I know him right he is singing hallelujah all the way home right now. *lol* :-)
A new hybrid
Tonny, I havent deceided yet, if I will make it next year again. Ludger will be singing Halleluja all the way home because he has two full flowering Brug trees in his car along with flowering branches of Favorite's Delight. It was at 21.30 hrs, when he left us, the fragrance in his car must make him high, LOL!
Sleipnir has eight feet - couldnt he carry a second person, LOL!
It has to carry three. Erik, Lene`s brother is the critical point. I know Lene would love to visit you as much as I. Lene is about to develop serious Brug addiction too and has become very selective in what pollen she put on Friendship DK-D. I will do my best.
If Ludger left 21.30 hrs he is about to be loading Brugs out of his car by now still singing. Ludger has the most phantastical car, but I think you noticed that. *lol* Do you know, how many Brugs he can have there. *lol* When he visited us he just kept pulling Brugs out like a magican would continue to pull new rabbits out of an empty hat. I still haven`t figured out, how he do it, but I will try to lure him of the trick, before we visit him. *lol*
LOL, when he visited us the first and he started to unload the car, my eyes got bigger and bigger! A large (and I mean large) CG, a large suaveol bush, a middle sized aurea and same size hybrid, buckets with flowers, cuttings etc. I didnt know, how much you can load into a Golf. You better lure that trick out of him.
*LOL* *LOL* I think, that Ludger is used to eyes getting bigger by now. *LOL* I can imagine the scenery very lively. *LOL* ... and I also imagine Ludger pulling out of the Golf with an innocent poker face and maybe a little modest smile, while explaining you their names and asking where to put this or that, all the wile you find it harder and harder to believe your eyes. *LOL* Now, I have never actually had a drive in this car with Ludger, but I imagine it as I once saw in a Comic film. You see a man go into his car from the outside. Next picture you see through the mans eyes inside the car and it is big as a four store house. *LOL* As said, I never saw his Golf from inside, but could it have been Ludger making this comic film?

Monika, neither of you needs to ask me twice, if I want to see them. Ludger is properly sound asleep dreaming of all the great things he experienced today, but I must admit, that waiting to see the pictures till tomorrow is like waiting for opening Christmas packages a day before Christmas. I think I will dream tonight of what is on these pictures and of wandering round in your garden with both of you. I am looking so much forward to tomorrow. :-)

She should be happy..............she has all these guests visting her house here and she does not not even have to serve us booze and we are having the best time!! Heck, she does not even have to be here to entertain us!!! Her threads are the best! We are a discerning crowd, we only want the best brugs around us as we party!!

They all folded long ago Monika, I am still up taking pictures. I had 3 I really wanted but I can't seem to get them to my liking. So I too will soon be giving up! I have to go to work in a few hours! Woe is me! have a very nice day! You will be having a busy weekend!

I just came in the house, Jeanne. Its dark now outside and the country women were trying to set up the tent. But it didnt work, the men have to help with it tomorrow. They will sell homemade cake and coffee to the visitors, lemonade and beer. I am going to tell my friends from the country club, that many oversea members from DG would loved to be with us.
All plants are blooming, ready for the visitors. And DH is wishing, it would already be over, LOL!
