Hey, hey, poppysue

I just came in from outside, you see, I was so inspired by your stepping stones, I just had to make some. I made 2 today. Both were with broken plates. I would have never thought putting together broken plates was so much work!! Of course it doesn't help when you have a three year old and a dog almost on top of your head. Anyway, mine were no where as pretty as yours, but they will do. Can't wait to finish them. Thanks for sharing your plans! Lisa

Good for you Lisa!! Don't worry ... it gets easier as you get a little more confident. My first few stones weren't much to brag about. Broken dishes aren't the easiest to work with but they're so colorful and unique. My eyes are always peeled for dishes that are cheap & colorful. My collection of plates is probably as bad as my collection of seeds! I definitely need a bigger house. You'll have to take some pictures and show us the finished stones.

Thanks for the kind words PoppeySue, I don't know if I'll have the "guts" to show them off...(grin) My plate collection is big also. My Mom used to work at the Salvation Army thrift store, I would go visit her there and come home with arms full of mismatched plates. I am a plate junkie...Lisa
