I know most of you know Pebble and I met and went to the FarWest show, It is the premiere trade show of the nursery industry for the US and it is right up there in Portland. I have only gone the last two years. I have a friend who is a sales rep. for a nursery supply company who gives me passes. It is always fun to see the newest plants that are being introduced. This is a good place to make contact with plug and liner growers. I was looking for some specific items. I had success doing that. We saw lots of purple fountain grass, zebra grass ( which I have in the greenhouse in gallons),two new coreopsises, Limerock Ruby and Sweet Dreams, I saw a new million bells, bright red for next year. Jackson and Perkins booth was gorgeous, as Pebble posted. David Austin roses were there too. If any of you visit the propogation forum you can see I like daphnes. I saw a new daphne with lavendar blooms, same foliage and flower shape but lavendar. I am going to find me one of those. This would be a great place for a roundup.
And I got to meet a great woman, very polite, and knowledgeable too,Pebble. And my youngest daughter enjoyed all the candy bowls.
