Mine is like Kell's, a very odd pink, but just beautiful. The first bloom was not at all like the others, though, but the others sure put on a show.
Beautiful L'Amour
The first one I had, I was not able to see bloom and it died before the next summer. Long story. I had a problem with some of my brugs dying and Kyle took it home to keep it away from the others. He was able to get a couple of pictures of blooms before it died and they were not pink here either. I didn't lose anymore brugs either. I believe my problem was a soaker hose that was touching the base of the brugs and causing rot. This is one of the pictures he took.
Editing this to say that this is not Kyle's picture, but Monika's. They were both similar and I clicked on the wrong one.

Such a beautiful bloom. I need a L'Amour! before I die.
I have several "named" cuttings that I can't wait to see bloom next year. Unfortunately, L'Amour is not one of them - maybe one day. I would love just a small cutting. Any ideas where one would be available?
Tracey has one for sale, or did on her site. Most of us who have it are just getting started with it, so my guess is that it will be fall before any cuttings will be available, at least in large scale.
Do you have a link to Tracey's site?
I love to see the excitement! :o) LOL none of us are impatient huh?? I think its great.
I don't, but I'll bet someone will come along and help you.
Here 'tis...

Isn't Tracey's site great!! She is not done yet with it. Still new.
Keep checking back to hers and Susies. Both will have tons of new brugs to sell. I can't wait!! LOL

Both great sights. Now if I could afford everything I wanted . . . .
I have visited Tracey's site and I think she has done a wonderful job on it. Between Tracey and Susie, I think everyone will be able to get just about any brug that they want. i also think they have great prices.
Kell, I have been really enjoying all your Christmas flowers etc. on your messages. They are all so very pretty. I wanted to find a Strawberries & Cream Poinsetta, but couldn't find one. Donna
Its a great Site. The pictures are beautiful.
Last one to bump. Monika, the color is just amazing!
Shelly, are you getting excited to see your L'Amour bloom? I am hoping to see blooms on mine, but not until way after yours blooms. No Y on mine yet.
Oh I dont have this one yet Shirley, I just think its a beautiful color, and the shape of Monika's there is amazing! I thought about getting it, but I have one more brug coming, and I think I am good for this year! :o) Of course... I dont know how many times I have said that!
Maybe the good fairy will bring you one this fall. That's when most people will have cuttings available. However, this might be one that most people prefer to keep whole. Sure is pretty.
Mine never got the color of Monika's. I need some heat and humidity! See, there is a positive side to living where it is so unbearable in the summer!
Did you see my hand go up. Boy do I have heat and humidity. If there are any cuttings out there that need a home, I would be thrilled to make room. I've had good luck with very small cuttings in rw this spring.
Well I guess I'll find out if the heat and humidity does the trick. I have blooms opening now. I can't wait.
